Two more set to venture into the world of LEGO.
Word has emerged that Elizabeth Banks (‘The Hunger Games’) and Morgan Freeman (‘The Dark Knight Rises’) have signed up to lend their voices to Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Chris McKay’s upcoming CGI/live-action hybrid, ‘LEGO: The Piece of Resistance.’
As previously reported the tale follows Emmett (voiced by Chris Pratt), “an ordinary, law-abiding, Lego mini-figure who is mistaken for the most extraordinary Master Builder. He’s drafted into a fellowship of strangers on a quest to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the universe together.”
Variety’s Jeff Sneider reports that Banks will voice Emmett’s “bad-ass” ex-girlfriend, while Freeman will be lending his voice to Vitruvius, a blind sage who is described as Gandalf meets Mr. Magoo.
Will Arnett is still set to voice a Lego incarnation of Batman, while it appears that Channing Tatum, who was being sought to voice Lego Superman, is no longer on board.
