Hong Kong martial arts king and ‘Rogue One’ scene-stealer Donnie Yen has been tapped to lead a big screen outing of the top-selling video game ‘Sleeping Dogs.’
The hit game, developed by United Front Games and Square Enix, is set in contemporary Hong Kong and follows Wei Shen, an undercover Hong Kong-American police officer on assignment to infiltrate the Sun On Yee Triad organization.
Neal H. Moritz (‘Fast and Furious,’ ’21 Jump Street’) and his Original Film banner are on board to produce, alongside Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons of DJ2 Entertainment.
