Bond’s 24th outing may have cast a new iconic villain…
Rumours are circulating that Dave Bautista, who played Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ has scored a significant role for ‘Bond 24.’
According to Latino-Review, the WWE superstar-turned actor will play Hinx, the film’s main henchman/assassin. It was recently revealed that director Sam Mendes and his producers were looking to cast an iconic Bond villain in the mold of Richard Kiel’s ‘Jaws’ and the villainous ”Oddjob’ (played by Harold Sakata).
Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Whishaw are set to return with French actress Léa Seydoux (‘Blue Is The Warmest Colour,’ ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel,’ ‘Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol’) as the new Bond girl.
Filming on the untitled film is expected to get underway early December with release pencilled in for November 2015.
