Dan Fogelman’s IMAGINE Adds Jennifer Garner and Michael Caine
Jennifer Garner (‘Dallas Buyers Club’) and Michael Caine (‘Interstellar’) are joining Al Pacino for Dan Fogelman’s directorial debut, ‘Imagine,’ according to Variety.
The John Lennon-centric comedy-drama follows Danny Collins (Pacino), an aging rocker who decides to change his hard living ways after discovering a letter written to him by John Lennon — prompting him to track down his biological son, whom he’s never met.
Caine will be playing Pacino’s longtime manager, while Garner will portray his daughter in law.
Additionally, it has been announced that Bobby Cannavale (‘Win Win’) and Annette Bening (‘Ruby Sparks’) are replacing the previously cast Jeremy Renner and Julianne Moore as Danny’s son and love interest, respectively. ‘Red Dawn’ star Josh Peck is reportedly in talks for a supporting role.
Principal photography is scheduled for later this month in Los Angeles with Denise Di Novi and Jessie Nelson producing.
