More Images of the Watchmen spin-off revealed
Readers of the Watchmen graphic novel will be familiar with the comic-within-a-comic running through the pages. ‘The Tales Of The Black Freighter’. The story tells of a cast away (voiced on the DVD by Gerard Butler) desperate to return home to warn his family about “The Black Freighter”, a haunted pirate ship that steals the souls of the damned. Director Zack Snyder felt the Black Freighter was too much to add to the film and decided to make it a stand alone adventure.
