Patrick Bateman goes crazy – Broadway style!
One of the launch pads for Christian Bale’s career, American Psycho, is set to be made into a Broadway musical.
The Bret Easton Ellis novel-turned -ilm focuses on Wall Street yuppie Patrick Bateman, an obsessive materialist by day, and cold blooded killer by night.
The controversial book was made into a film in 2000, and has since gained a massive cult following.
Now the Johnson-Roessler Company, The Collective and XYZ Films have joined forces to develop and produce the live stage version of the novel, the companies said.
Details of director, actors, or a release date, have not been confirmed for the Broadway show.
