JK Rowling’s penultimate wizard movie will be a 2D only affair.
Warner Bros have scrapped plans to release the upcoming Harry Potter movie ‘Deathly Hallows Part I’ in 3D. The studio released last years Potter movie ‘The Half-Blood Prince’ in 3D but claim not to have enough time to properly convert the latest film in time for it’s November release.
The studio faced criticism when it rushed the 3D conversion on ‘Clash Of The Titans’ and perhaps wants to avoid similar problems with a movie which is guaranteed big returns at the box-office. The final Harry Potter movie ‘The Deathly Hallows Part II’ is still scheduled to be converted to 3D for its July 2011 release.
