Sam Worthington signs to surf drama Drift
Sam Worthington has signed to star in upcoming surfing drama Drift.
Th actor will reportedly be moving back to his homeland of Australia to take part in the production:
“I’m a WA boy at heart and to go back there and put something back into my hometown is something I am really looking forward to,” he said.
The movie was inspired by the true story of a photographer and journalist who helped surfing become a global industry.
Worthington added: “There’s something pure and true about surfing, and there is something pure and true about this script.”
