‘Breaking Bad’star may enlist for ‘World War Z.’
In-demand actor Bryan Cranston is in negotiations to join the cast of Marc Forster’s post-apocalyptic thriller ‘World War Z.’
The ‘Breaking Bad’ star, who recently dropped out of Ruben Fleischer’s period crime drama ‘Gangster Squad’ due to scheduling conflicts, would be taking a small but flashy role according to THR.
An adaptation of Max Brooks’ novel of the same, the movie is set 10 years after a global zombie infestation and stars Brad Pitt as a representative for the UN Postwar Commission who interviews survivors in countries that were decimated by the zombie epidemic.
Mireille Enos (‘The Killing’), James Badge Dale (‘The Pacific’), Julia Levy-Boeken (‘Entourage’) and Elyes Gabel (‘Game of Thrones’) co-star.
