Warner Brothers and New Line struggle to secure location for Lord of The Rings prequels. Warner Brothers and New Line are still said to be considering alternative locations to New Zealand when The Hobbit begins filming this February. Trade union negotiations have delayed production work on the filming which plans to start shooting early next year. Despite the removal of several no work orders studio bosses said in a statement they “are still awaiting retractions from other guilds.” According to the studios “alternative locations are still being considered” with the U.K. being considered as a possible base for the production. Peter Jackson is set to helm the first in a two movie prequel when the production begins shooting this February.
