Fourth outing casts its bad guy…
Vincent D’Onofrio (‘Run All Night,’ ‘The Judge’) has landed the role of the villain in Colin Trevorrow’s ‘Jurassic Park,’ Deadline reports.
Set to begin filming in April with a cast that includes Chris Pratt (‘Guardians of the Galaxy’), Bryce Dallas Howard (‘The Help’), Jake Johnson (‘Safety Not Guaranteed’), Irrfan Khan (‘Life of Pi’), Nick Robinson (‘The Kings of Summer’) and Ty Simpkins (‘Iron Man 3’), the film takes place on Isla Nublar, the setting of Steven Spielberg’s 1993 blockbuster, now a fully-working theme park with real dinosaurs. Further details remain under wraps.
French actor Omar Sy (‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’) is rumoured for a role. The fourth outing of the blockbuster franchise is set for a 3D release Summer 2015.
Trevorrow is directing from a script by Derek Connolly, while Steven Spielberg, Pat Crowley, and Frank Marshall are producing.
