‘Braveheart’ scribe Randall Wallace has reportedly sold his action adventure pitch ‘Gunslingers’ to New Regency Productions in a six figure deal.
Details are under wraps for now, but according to Deadline’s Mike Fleming the film is “set in modern day Los Angeles, where heroic and iconic characters from the past collide with contemporary urban reality,” with the movie exploring “what real heroism is in a fun and unexpected way.”
The project is currently set up as a starring vehicle for Vince Vaughn (‘The Internship,’ ‘The Watch’), who is also attached as producer.
