Tom Hardy Takes Untitled Biker Drama

Actor to play outlaw biker in new drama.

As part of his new first-look deal with Warner Bros. Pictures, Tom Hardy (‘Dark Knight Rises,’ ‘This Means War’) has lined up an untitled biker drama that he will star in and produce, reports Variety.

Penned by ‘Vacancy’ scribe Mark L. Smith and based on an original idea from producer John Linson, the story centers on “a wounded Vietnam veteran who returns home to San Francisco at the height of unrest of 1969. Amid clashing cultures of the Haight-Ashbury district, he emerges to become the leader of California’s most violent outlaw biker club.”

Hardy will partner with Art Linson and John Linson of Linson Entertainment to produce.
