Actor/director to tackle dysfunctional family comedy.

Tim Robbins (‘Thanks for Sharing,’ ‘Dead Man Walking’) has closed a deal to direct Michelle Pfeiffer and her ‘Dark Shadows’ co-star Chloë Moretz in the indie comedy ‘Man Under,’ reports Deadline.

With Robbins also set to take a starring role, the dysfunctional family comedy was scripted by Ann Cherkis (‘The Secret’) and follows a family whose lives go haywire when New York City’s Museum of Modern Arts displays photographs of them in an exhibit, turning them into celebrities.

Alexandra Milchan is producing via her EMJAG Productions, with Film 360’s Scott Lambert and Aimee Peyronnet.
