The God of Thunder will return Summer 2013
Marvel Studios has announced that a sequel to ‘Thor’ is to arrive in cinemas July 2013.
While Chris Hemsworth will return as title hero, director Kenneth Branagh won’t be returning for the sequel, with Deadline reporting that his departure was “mutual and amicable.” It is believed the helmer will likely be involved in some producing capacity.
The first movie grossed €301 million worldwide, with some territories still playing out. Disney and Marvel have already slotted ‘Iron Man 3’ to open May 2013.
