‘The Mist’ star ruled out of Jonah Hex running.
Thomas Jane is not Jonah Hex. At least according to the co-writer and co-director Brian Taylor of the upcoming Jonah Hex pic.
Speaking in an interview, Taylor explained “He’s a great guy,” referring to Jane, “But we… don’t see the guy as Jonah Hex, to be quite honest with you. But we like him.”
It seems the photo circling the web was part of Jane’s own campaign to play Jonah Hex in the big screen adaptation of the comic book of the same name.
So far, no actor has been confirmed for the character of Hex- described as “a rough-and-tumble gunslinger and part-time bounty hunter” from the DC Comic world.
