The Simpsons Comes To Ireland

New Simpsons episode comes to Ireland

The makers of The Simpsons cartoon are preparing a special St Patrick’s Day episode which will be broadcast in Ireland before it hits US screens.


Titled “In The Name of the Grandfather” the episode sees Grandpa Simpson and Home come to Ireland to buy a pub.


Among the landmarks which feature in the episode are the Giant’s Causeway, Blarney Castle and the Guinness Brewery, with Colm Meaney guest voicing the character of Tom O’Flanagan.


The Simpsons’ executive producers along with Nancy Cartwright, who voices Bart, Nelson Muntz, Todd Flanders et al. will be visiting Ireland to promote the show.
