The Dark Knight Rises to film in Romania?
The Dark Knight Rises is off to Romania!
According to reports, Christopher Nolan is planning to film in Bucharest.
It was previously reported that director Christopher Nolan would shoot in Los Angeles, the UK and possibly Detroit.
Now, Nolan is apparently looking to shoot at the Romanian Palace of Parliament and Bucharest’s historical centre, Edgar Quinet Street. He has also visited the Turda salt mines. It is not yet known whether they will feature in the plot of the movie.
The film, which stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman, opens summer 2012.
