NEBRASKA is released in Irish cinemas this week, and stars Will Forte as a man who accompanies his father across country as he journeys to claim a million dollar prize. We present the facts about Will Forte, the star of NEBRASKA.
Forte was age 32 before he came to the public’s attention on Saturday Night Live, but had been working in comedy since 1997.

… Will played the game a lot while filming A GOOD OLD FASHIONED ORGY in Wilmington NC after seeing the movie KING OF KONG.
Will goes by a shortened version of his middle name; Willis.
… Will’s birth name is a lot more fancy; Orville Willis Forte IV.
Forte officiated his sister’s wedding, as well as that of Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney and Emily Ward.

Will purchased new clothing to wear at the Cannes Film Festival, where NEBRASKA was In Competition, only to have his baggage lost on the flight.
… That didn’t stop the film winning massive praise, and Will still looked good on the red carpet.
Will’s character from Saturday Night Live, MacGruber, got a spin off film of his own in 2010.
… Sadly, it was considered to be the second biggest box office flop of 2010, and currently sits at 47% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Forte is currently working on a film named SQUIRREL TO THE NUTS, which also stars Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson.
… The film is directed by veteran film maker Peter Bogdanovich.
Of playing the straight man in NEBRASKA, Will said “it was a huge thrill for me, because I never get to play those kinds of roles”
