‘Horrible Bosses’ star Jason Sudeikis and Rose Byrne (‘The Five Year Engagement’) have been of the indie rom-com ‘Tumbledown,’ with Olivia Munn (‘The Newsroom’), Joe Manganiello (‘True Blood’), Blythe Danner (‘The Lucky One’), Michael McKean (‘This Is Spinal Tap’) and Beau Bridges (‘The Descendants’) in supporting roles.
To be directed by Sean Mewshaw from an original screenplay by Desi Van Til, the film follows a young widow (Byrne) who falls for a brash New York writer (Sudeikis) who comes into her rural Maine town to investigate the death of her husband, a folk-music hero.
Principal photography is set to kick off in October in Vancouver. The film will mark Mewshaw and Van Til’s feature directing and screenwriting debuts.
