Stephen Graham reteams with Shane Meadows for “King Of The Gypsies”
According to reports, Stephen Graham is reteaming with his This Is England director Shane Meadows.
In a recent interview for the forthcomging Awaydays, Graham said that he hopes to start work on King Of The Gypsies with Meadows “next year”.
“That’s still happening, hopefully,” he said of Meadows’s biopic of the late bare-knuckle boxer Bartley Gorman. “I’d carry a cup of tea in a shop for Shane. I think he’s an amazing director and a lovely man.”
Meadows co-wrote Gypsies with Paddy Considine, who is expected to take the role of Gorman.
