Weaver to play Mommy Vampire…
Sigourney Weaver has joined Alicia Silverstone in the cast of horror rom-com Vamps.
The actress will star as Ciccerus, a blood-thirsty vampire queen in the New York-set film.
Silverstone and Krysten Ritter will play vampire whose immortality is put at risk when love threatens to split their relationship. Weaver plays the vamp who turned them both into vampires.
The film sees director Amy Heckerling with her Clueless star Silverstone.
