Scott Wiper to Tackle ACT OF VALOUR Sequel

SWAT-centred sequel in development.

Deadline has received word that Relativity Media and the Bandito Brothers are reteaming for a sequel to the last year’s Navy SEALS actioner ‘Act of Valour,’ enlisting Scott Wiper (‘The Condemned,’ ‘A Better Way To Die’) to write and direct.

The first film, based on an original script by Kurt Johnstad (‘300’) and directed by Bandito Brothers partners Mike ‘Mouse’ McCoy and Scott Waugh, featured a group of active-duty U.S. Navy SEALs alongside actors Roselyn Sanchez, Alex Veadov, Jason Cottle and Nester Serrano, in a fictionalized account of a real-life operation.

According to the site’s sources, the new film will focus on a team of elite SWAT officers.

McCoy and Waugh are currently developing a scripted drama based on the original film with Relativity Television.
