Saoirse Ronan and Jason Isaacs Visit STOCKHOLM, PENNSYLVANIA

Deadline reports that Saoirse Ronan, Jason Isaacs, and ‘Sex and the City’ actress Cynthia Nixon are set to star in ‘Stockholm, Pennsylvania,’ the directorial debut of playwright Nikole Beckwith.

An adaptation of Beckwith’s play of the same name, the film sees Ronan playing developmentally stunted Leia, “a young woman raised by a kidnapper who now struggles to acclimate to her actual parents after 20 years of separation.

Nixon plays the Leia’s grief-stricken mother, who goes to extreme lengths to recapture her daughter’s love, with David Warshofsky (‘Captain Phillips’) playing her father. ‘Harry Potter’ star Isaacs will play her captor.

Principal photography kicks off next week in Los Angeles. Greg Ammon of Fido Features with co-produce the movie with Leslie Urdang and Dan Halsted over at Olympus Pictures. Beckwith’s script was on the 2012 Black List, and also won the 2012 Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting.

Ronan will next be seen starring in Wes Anderson’s star-studded ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ when it hits Irish screens March 7th.
