Rob Liefeld confirms Ryan Reynolds for Deadpool spin-off
Rob Liefeld – the co-creator of Deadpool – has confirmed Ryan Reynolds will star in the Marvel spinoff movie.
Reynolds portrayed the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine earlier this year but there had been rumours that he would not reprise the role after landing the lead in competing film Green Lantern.
According to his Twitter page, Liefeld said: “Deadpool movie checklist – DP in costume-check! Breaking 4th wall-check! Loads of killing-double check! YES! Ryan Reynolds is on board!!!”
