Trio leading drama…
Variety reports that Tim Roth (‘Grace of Monaco,’ ‘Broken’), Juliette Binoche (‘Sils Maria,’ ‘Godzilla’) and Robert Pattinson (‘Queen of the Desert,’ ‘The Lost City of Z’) have all signed on to star in the drama ‘The Childhood of a Leader.’
Marking the directorial debut of actor Brady Corbet (‘Simon Killer,’ ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene,’ ‘Funny Games’), the drama focuses on the childhood of a post-World War I leader.
Corbet co-wrote the script with Norwegian actress/director/writer Mona Fastvold (‘The Sleepwalker,’ ‘The Other Woman’).
Antoine and Martine de Clermont-Tonnere, Chris Coen, Amour Fou and Scope Pictures will produce, with filming slatted for a May 2014 start.
