Rosemarys Baby shelved

Andrew Form and Brad Fuller shelved ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ remake

A proposed remake of Roman Polanski’s horror classic Rosemary’s Baby has been shelved.

Producers Andrew Form and Brad Fuller have revealed that the project has been abandoned after writers failed to come up with a new spin on the 1968 film:

“We went down that road and we even talked to the best writers in town and it feels like it might not be do-able,”  said Fuller. “We couldn’t come up with something where it felt like it was relevant and we could add something to it other than what it was so we’re now not going to be doing that film.”

Earlier this month the duo revealed that they had been given the green light to remake another horror classic, Nightmare On Elm Street.
