Mickey Rourke out, Ron Perlman in!
Mickey Rourke is no longer to play Conan’s father in the forthcoming Marcus Nispel remake of Conan.
According to reports, Ron Perlman, best known for playing the the comic book character Hellboy in the two films of the same name, has taken over for Rourke.
In addition to Jason Momoa – long since cast as Conan – and Perlman, the cast of the film includes Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang as villain Khalar Singh (from box office smash Avatar), Bob Sapp and Leo Howard.
Filming begins in Bulgaria later in March.
