Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor Board James Wan’s THE CONJURING

Two more added to the spook fest, which may or may not have a new title.

Casting for James Wan’s ‘The Conjuring’ is moving fast. It was only Monday when we reported that the supernatural thriller had nabbed its leads in Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, now THR has word that both Ron Livingston (‘The Odd Life of Timothy Green,’ ‘Office Space’) and Lili Taylor (‘Brooklyn’s Finest,’ ‘Factotum’) are in negotiations to join the thriller, which may or may not have a new title.

Referred to as ‘The Untitled Warren Files Project’ by THR, the Chad and Carey Hayes-penned film sees Wilson and Farmiga playing “a husband and wife team of demonologists and psychic investigators who enter the most horrifying case of their career, spirits in a Rhode Island farmhouse.” Livingston and Taylor will play the couple who move with their kids to the farmhouse and begin to be haunted.

The screenplay is based on the book ‘House of Darkness, House of Light: The True Story’ by Andrea Perron. Perron and her family claimed their farmhouse was inhabited by both friendly and evil spirits.
