Director Robert Zemeckis to film The Nutcracker
Director Robert Zemeckis is eying a film version of The Nutcracker.
The forthcoming movie will be an adaptation of E.T.A. Hoffmann’s novel The Nutcracker and the Mouse King.
Zemeckis’s picture will set in 19th century Russia. It will tell the cursed Nutcracker character’s origin story and feature the battle between mice and dolls.
