Ricky Gervais joins Wind in the WIllows
Ricky Gervais has signed on to lead character of Mole in The Wind in the Willows, reports Variety.
Bill Marsilii (Deja Vu) wrote the adaptation of the classic novel by Kenneth Grahame which is described as follows:
In the movie – described as a “bold, new interpretation” of the book, the four key characters Mole, Badger, Rat and Mr Toad overcome a sinister plot to destroy their land.
Directed bt Ray Griigs, the movie will be a mix of live-action and animatronic/
Pre-production will begin this year in New Zealand, where Griggs will be working with Peter Jackson’s visual effects company Weta.
