‘Black Swan’ star circles two more prospective projects.
On Monday it was revealed that Natalie Portman was being sought by Fox Searchlight to headline its Jackie Kennedy biopic, ‘Jackie.’ Now TheWrap has word that the ‘Black Swan’ star has been offered the lead roles in two more projects; the Paramount Pictures action thriller ‘Code Name Sasha’ and ‘Last Witness.’
Described as a female ‘Training Day’ meets ‘La Femme Nikita,’ ‘Code Name Sasha’ would see the Oscar-winning actress playing “a single mother who has been engaged in criminal activity since she was a teenager. She is given a chance to get out when the FBI asks her to go undercover to bring down the world’s largest gun-running organization.”
The second project, ‘Last Witness,’ is setup over at 20th Century Fox and revolves around “a psychologist working with the sole survivor of a bombing in a café in Boston who is suffering from amnesia.”
Portman’s rep says that the actress has yet to make a decision regarding the projects.
