David and Alex Pastor to direct Strange, but True
Spanish brothers David and Alex Pastor, who helmed Carriers are attached to direct the thriller Strange, but True.
“Strange” follows a young woman who, five years after the death of her boyfriend, tells his parents she is pregnant with his baby.
The screenplay is based on John Searles’ eponymous novel and written by Searles and Eric Garcia (“Matchstick Men”).
“It’s a dramatic thriller with a big heart in the line of ‘Fargo’ and ‘A Simple Plan,'” Alex Pastor told reporters.
