Paranormal Activity sequel in the works
A sequel to the upcoming horror movie Paranormal Activity is reportedly in the works.
The movie, directed by Oren Peli on a budget of just $15,000, has grossed more than $62 million in its five weeks on release in the US:
“We have the rights on a worldwide basis to do Paranormal 2 and we’re looking to see if that makes some sense,” the Los Angeles Times quotes Paramount chairman Brad Grey as saying.
Paramount picked up the independently produced film for $300,000 and spent less than $10 million on marketing costs.
Paranormal Activity opens in Irish cinemas on November 25th.
