Cameron Diaz-headlined comedy lands director.
Actor-turned-director Nick Cassavetes (‘Alpha Dog,’ ‘The Notebook,’ ‘John Q’) is to step behind the camera for the revenge comedy ‘The Other Woman.’
Penned by Melissa Stack, the plot centres on a woman (played by Cameron Diaz), who, after realizing she is the other woman in a love triangle, teams with the man’s wife in order to get revenge.
Leslie Mann (‘This is 40’) and ‘Game of Thrones’ star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau are in negotiations to co-star.
Filming on the comedy is set to commence in the summer in New York with Julie Yorn (‘We Bought A Zoo,’ ‘Unstoppable’) producing.
