Idris Elba as Heimdall, the guardian of Asgard.
Marvel has released a new image from the Kenneth Branagh directed ‘Thor.’ This new image gives us a better look at Idris Elba (‘RocknRolla.’ ‘The Losers’) as Heimdall. Heimdall is the all-seeing and all-hearing guardian sentry who stands on the rainbow bridge, Bifrost, and watches for any attacks to Asgard. Check out the image below, and see Elba and the rest of the ‘Thor’ cast in action when the movie is released in Irish cinemas on April 29th.
