‘Centurion’ and ‘The Descent’ director Neil Marshall is in early talks to direct the CBS Films slasher horror ‘Hellfest,’ reports Deadline.
Penned by William Penick and Chris Sey, the plot follows a “costumed killer who systematically slaughters the unsuspecting visitors who come to a theme park on Halloween night.”
Marshall is eyeing the project as his next film, with production planned for next summer. There are plans for the film to be the first in a possible franchise. Gale Anne Hurd is board, and will produce through her Valhalla Entertainment banner.
