Neil Gaiman directs Statuesque

Statues come to life in Neil Gaiman’s new flick!

Neil Gaiman’s short film Statuesque has been picked up by Sky1.


The 8-minute silent film tells the story of two living statues and the man who watches them during the Christmas shopping season. Bill Nighy and The Dresden Dolls’ vocalist Amanda Palmer will be starring in the film.


The film marks Gaiman’s second foray into the world of directing – his first being 2003’s A Short Film About John Bolton


According to Variety, the film will be airred as part of Sky’s “12 Days of Christmas.”
