Tony Blair’s doppelganger gets his fangs out for Twilight sequel
Michael Sheen has reportedly been added to the cast of “Twilight” sequel “New Moon”.
“The Damned United” star will play Aro, the leader of the Italian Volturi vampire clan in the vampire romance .
Speaking of the casting decision and character, director Chris Weitz said:
“Michael’s role is so important because he’s the head of all vampires. Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat.”
“New Moon” has a scheduled release date of November 20
