Costumed superheroes help break a world record… check out our pics
Will Ferrell helped break the world record for ‘Largest Gathering of Superheroes’ this weekend when he showed up at a publicity event in LA for new movie ‘Megamind’.
A total of 1,580 superheroes turned up to the event, narrowly breaking the previous record of 1,500 set by a children’s hospital in New Hampshire.
Our photo gallery below shows some of the attendees dressed as Superman, Batman, Green Arrow and even newer characters like Hit-Girl.
Ferrell said he now has a taste for record breaking and wants to break another one “I might enter into one of those hot-dog eating contests”, he joked. Little does he know Movies.ie are currently preparing to break the world record for hot-dog eating. Wish us luck.
