According to Movie Newz, the actor is the favourite to portray the Man of Steel in the upcoming adaptation.
Movie Newz added that Superman’s physical appearance will be created using CGI effects, so extensive body building may not be required for the lead actor. A similar technique is being applied during the production of Green Lantern.
Snyder’s Superman is scheduled to arrive in 2012.
