Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio Commit to THE WOLF OF WALL STREET

Scorsese/DiCaprio feature back on track.

Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio have officially committed to making ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ their fifth collaboration, and according to Deadline production is scheduled to begin in August.

Based on Jordan Belfort’s memoir, the film details how the New York stockbroker guided his team into making millions, then used the money to fund an extravagant lifestyle before being indicted in security fraud and money laundering.

The screenplay was penned by ‘Boardwalk Empire’ and ‘The Sopranos’ writer Terrence Winter, and he will polish up his script before going into production.

Scorsese will produce alongside his production head Emma Tillinger Koskoff as well as Irwin Winkler, DiCaprio and his Appian Way partner Jennifer Killoran, and Alexandra Milchan.
