Cotillard for Dark Knight Rises?
Marion Cotillard will reportedly appear in new Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises.
If confirmed, she would star alongside Christian Bale, who returns for the third time as the caped crusader, and Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman.
French newspaper Le Fiagro revealed: “Marion Cotillard will join the production this summer in Los Angeles, where she will share the bill with Anne Hathaway.”
According to the report, Marion – who is due to give birth to her first child with Guillaume Canet in May – is scaling back her future projects to focus on motherhood.
The publication wrote: “The actress, who is expecting a child in the spring with Guillaume Canet, will be scarce this year. She’ll do a single film and her choice fell on Batman 3.”
Filming is due to begin soon, with a projected release date of June 2012.
