Dominic Cooper suggests Mamma Mia prequel

Dominic Cooper has suggested that the next Mamma Mia! movie may be a prequel.

While promoting his latest film An Education, Cooper said that taking the story back in time may rule out an appearance for his character Sky:

“Unfortunately you say sequel, I’ve heard a terrible similar word beginning with a ‘p’, which absolutely outs my existence in it whatsoever,” he stated, adding: “I’d do anything to go and film on a Greek island again.”

Cooper added he would like to see music from the ’80s replace the songs of Abba should the Swedish pop group withdraw from the new film: “You could go down the Duran Duran route – or jive music.”
