Liam Neeson Returning for TAKEN 3

61-year-old to return for a third outing.

Multiple outlets are reporting that Liam Neeson is in final negotiations to reprise his role as retired CIA agent Bryan Mills for ‘Taken 3.’

While plot details are unknown, the script by Robert Mark Kamen and Luc Besson will reportedly take the franchise is a new direction.

Besson’s EuropaCorp and 20th Century Fox are eyeing a February 2014 start for the film. Producers are now out to directors with rumours of ‘Taken 2’ helmer Olivier Megaton possibly returning.

The first two outings pulled in a combined total of over $600 million at the worldwide box office with neither film costing more than $50 million to make.
