Star lands supporting roles in two upcoming projects.
John Leguizamo (‘The Lincoln Lawyer,’ ‘Ice Age’) has closed a deal to play a low level drug dealer in Ridley Scott’s ‘The Counselor,’ reports Deadline.
The Cormac McCarthy-scripted film stars Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz, and centres on a lawyer who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking.
Leguizamo has also signed up for a supporting role in Jeff Wadlow’s ‘Kick-Ass 2,’ in which he will take the role of Javier, the bodyguard assigned to protect Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s Red Mist. Other original cast members Aaron Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz and Nicolas Cage are now confirmed to be returning for the sequel.
