Landon to helm Burning Palms

Disturbia scribe Christopher Landon to make his directorial debut.

‘Disturbia’ scribe Christopher Landon will make his directorial debut with the indie dark comedy ‘Burning Palms’.

Landon will also penn the project, described as a subversive tale interlaces five stories set in Los Angeles, where no taboo is left unexplored as each character careens toward a dark and often comic fate.

Oren Segal, Steven Prince and Jason Hewitt are producing, and Tyler Thompson, Vince Morella, and Nas Jafri exec produce. Hewitt’s company, Films in Motion, arranged the financing.

Principal photography will begin the first week of October in Los Angeles.
