King To Reunite With Darabont For An Episode of THE WALKING DEAD

Master of horror Stephen King is in talks to write a upcoming episode of ‘The Walking Dead’ alongside his song Joe Hill.

Master of literary horror, Stephen King, is in talks to write an upcoming episode of the hit series ‘The Walking Dead.’ News of King’s involvement was revealed over the weekend by actress Laurie Holden at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo.

And now, King himself has confirmed the news to Entertainment Weekly. The horror novelist also revealed that the current plan would be for him to co-write an episode with his son Joe Hill, the author of ‘Locke & Key,’ ‘Heart-Shaped Box’ and ‘Horns,’ the latter of which is to be adapted into a movie to star Shia LaBeouf.

Given that the shows’s executive producer and controller of creative content is Frank Darabont, the news of King’s involvement should come as no surprise as the two have shared a long and rich history together, with Darabont having adapted three movies based on the author’s work, ‘The Shawshank Redemption,’ ‘The Green Mile’ and ‘The Mist.’
