Kevin Connolly and Luke Wilson Join ELVIS & NIXON

Elvis and Nixon drama adds two.

‘Entourage’ star Kevin Connolly has joined Eric Bana and Danny Huston on the cast of actor Cary Elwes’ directorial debut ‘Elvis & Nixon.’ THR adds that Luke Wilson (‘Death at a Funeral’) is in talks to board the indie drama.

The film tells the story of Elvis Presley’s famed meeting with Richard Nixon in 1970. The meeting was initiated by Presley (Bana), who wrote Nixon (Huston) a six-page letter requesting a visit and suggesting that he be made a “Federal Agent-at-Large” in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

Elwes penned the screenplay with Joey and Hanala Sagal. Michael Benaroya (‘Margin Call’) and Holly Wiersma (‘Bobby’) are producing with production set for a January start in Louisiana.
