Deadline has learned that Swedish actor Michael Nyqvist (‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,’ ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’) and Alfie Allen, best known for his role as Theon Greyjoy in the ‘Game of Thrones,’ are set to join Keanu Reeves and Willem Dafoe on the cast of the revenge thriller ‘John Wick.’
Reeves plays the title character, a former hitman whose who set out to kill the thug (Allen) who stole his car and killed his late wife’s dog. But the thug’s father Viggo (Nyqvist), a wealthy and vicious Russian crime boss, puts a large bounty on John’s head, which Marcus (Dafoe), a fellow hitman and close friend of Wick’s, is determined to collect.
Swiss actor Daniel Bernhardt (‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,’ ‘The Matrix Reloaded’) co-stars.
